Remember that this Friday October 16 is the day for "Third in Strasburg," and that means the Strasburg Heritage Society's "Story Bench" will be open for business! This month, it will be in front of the Limestone Inn at 33 East Main Street (we'll move inside if there's rain). Stop by and hear a reading of "The Spook of Turniptown Bridge." It's a poem written 120 years ago by Strasburg's John Shroy. It's kind of like reading “The Night Before Christmas,” except it's Halloween, and it's Strasburg! We'll also talk about spooky local legends from 200 years ago.

Stop by the Story Bench to hear stories for all ages about the places near the bench! There will be coloring pages for kids
Join us every month at the Story Bench, part of our town’s “3rd in Strasburg” event. On the 3rd Friday of every month, Strasburg businesses and civic organizations feature special events and promotions. Strasburg Heritage Society will present the Story Bench at a different location every month.
